I had never heard of mache, but I was able to find a bag of Organic Mache at Trader Joe's. I expected it to have a bitter or peppery flavor like agugala, but it was actually quite mild. This salad was excellent and I always love blue cheese with steak.

Super-easy. Liked the small hit of vinegar on the raw steak (we used petite sirloin instead of flank because it was on sale). Served with steamed cauliflower.
