Ingredients
- 2 (10-ounce) packages frozen English peas
- 2 teaspoons reduced-calorie margarine
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 1/2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh thyme or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
Preparation
- Cook peas according to package directions, omitting salt; drain and transfer to a large bowl.
- Add margarine and remaining 4 ingredients, stirring until margarine melts. Serve warm.
- Tip: These tasty, tender peas are wonderful with Grilled Leg of Lamb and Roasted New Potatoes.
