Spring Linguine with Basil

    Made exactly to recipe -- very quick & easy. Normally we're a "everything is better with garlic" group -- but this was good just as written. Served with cherry tomato/mozzarella salad & white wine.

    I kind of took the spring out of this recipe by using frozen peas, but I still thought this was a tasty meal. I used whole wheat linguine and served it with the spring vegetable skillet in the magazine. I also added tuna since I thought Hubs wouldn't be full from this. Extremely easy to make.

    This was okay. It was pretty bland but I'm not all that picky when it comes to pasta. So for me and my husband- it was okay. It wasn't bad. Just didn't shine any stars.

    Really good! Very fresh-tasting - don't substitute any of the fresh ingredients! We used whole-wheat fresh refrigerated linguine. The lemon was a little strong for me because I'm not a huge citrus fan but others loved it. Simple and fresh and fast. Served with a salad.

    This was surprisingly delicious. With the few ingredients that it required I thought it was going to be bland and instead it was REALLY good. Costco generally sells large bags of fresh shelled peas which made it even quicker and easier. The FRESH pasta made the dish, I do not think it would have been nearly as good without it. Yum!

    This is yummy! Very light and fresh. I ended up using frozen peas as I couldn't find any fresh peas and fresh whole wheat penne pasta that I found at Whole Foods which was great. Since there is no meat in this recipe I think having the boost of the whole pasta helped make it more filling. Will make again for sure.

    I really enjoyed this recipe, but I did make some changes to it, so I couldn't give it 5 stars. I used whole wheat pasta, I added garlic to the butter/oil mixture to give it more flavor, and I added some crushed red pepper at the end to add flavor as well. Other than that, I made as written. This is a simple dish, but it was very tasty. I would definitely make it again.
