Spicy Wontons

Add extra flavor and lots of crunch to your soup with Spicy Wontons.

  • Yield: Serves 4 (serving size: 4 wontons halves)

Ingredients

  • 8 wonton wrappers
  • Cooking spray
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper

Preparation

Preheat oven to 425°. Cut wonton wrappers in half; place on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Combine egg white and water. Brush tops of won­tons with egg white mixture. Combine sesame seeds, salt, and ground red pepper; sprinkle evenly over wontons. Press mixture into wontons. Bake at 425° for 5 minutes or until golden.
