Great dish! No weird ingredients, easy to prepare and very good! This one is a keeper.

Made this for New Year's Day.....we used andoullie sausage and left out the cayenne. Absolutely wonderful!! Served it as a side dish to pulled pork and hush puppies. The only thing I will do next time is saute some onion with the sausage. It was a hit!

I used dark red kidney beans and cut the recipe down some because I made it for myself. I love it!

I used cannelini beans and served over white rice. It was very good. However, I think using andouille or spicing up the sausage while it's cooking would be better. I would make again!
