Spicy-Sweet Pork Tenderloin

This was pretty good i think. Everyone seemed to like it. At first i wasn't sure if I liked the taste. It definately added flavor to the pork tenderloin but i think the soy taste was almost too strong. I doubled the sauce so maybe that was the problem. Overall a good dinner meal. Served with green beans and mashed potatoes

We love this recipe! It's really easy to cook and the ingredients are things that I always have. I used fresh garlic and ginger. And, I substituted turkey cutlets for the pork. I also doubled the sauce. I served it with brown rice and apple coleslaw.

I made this but changed the sauce completely. I used about 2-3 TBL of orange marmalade, 1 tsp of crushed red pepper, olive oil, a splash of apple cider vinegar & mixed with the soy sauce. I waited to cook the sauce at the end & not with the pork. Very good!

The flavor of this recipe is outstanding. Quick to prepare. This is definitely a "keeper."

This was very tasty and easy to put together. Next time I think I will double the sauce. I used mild salsa and wasn't too hot for me. A definite repeat.

So simple! I forgot to spoon the soy mixture on the first half of the meat, and I liked it better than with the soy. Next time, I would skip it altogether, which simplifies this even more- mix salsa and jam and deglaze the pan? 10 minute dish. Served it with roasted cauliflower and a salad. Delicious and FAST! Perfect weeknight meal but good enough for company.

This was REALLY good. I was dubious about the ingredients, but was so pleased with how it turned out. I doubled the amount of salsa and preserves. Also, I used an all-fruit raspberry preserve, which I think might have helped with the overwhelming "sweetness" that some other reviewers mentioned - I don't buy things with HFCS in them, so this was all natural fruit-sweetened preserves. Also I did use jarred salsa, medium heat. And LOTS more fresh cilantro because we love it. I served this over a nice whole grain cous cous with a side of roasted asparagus. What a great dinner! I will add this to our regular rotation - it was super easy, really fast and yummy!

Fantastic. I usually make extra sauce. Ran across this recipe five years ago, have probably made it three dozen times and everyone who has ever had it has loved it. You will not be disappointed. I make it with mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts, green beans or whole boiled artichokes.

Wonderful to the taste buds! I have also substituted butterflied chicken breasts (2) for the pork tenderloin. Omitted the cilantro because I don't care for it. Came out fantastically!

This was SUPER easy and fast to make! I used fresh garlic and ginger since that's what I had on hand. I also used strawberry jam instead of raspberry and I added an extra drop os salsa since some people mentioned it being to sweet. I thought it was the right combo and the right amount. I also didn't have any cilantro, so I sprinkled with flat-leaf parsely (for those who don't like cilantro, this is a great substitute because it doesn't taste as strong). I served with Garlic Mashed Potato Gratin (also on this website) and coleslaw. I'm making this again and again since everyone at home loved it!

I have never written a review, but this recipe "wowwed" me and my whole family. Simple, low fat, low sodium, delicious, quick and easy. Definitely 5 Stars. Impressive presentation. A great meal for entertaining or impressing your family. I prepared as written except used parsley instead of cilantro. Pretty dish and diet friendly too

I'm allergic to tomatoes so I have to adjust most recipies that call for the red stuff and replace them with alternatives. I adjusted this recipie a bit by using La Victoria chunky Jalapeno hot sauce (it's what I had in the fridge) instead of salsa. The Jalapeno sauce is very flavorful but spicy and it worked extremely well to counter the sweetness of the raspberry preserves. I would definitely make this dish again. Very good!

I made this with a pound of thin cut porkchops instead of the tenderloin. When my husband first saw the variety of ingredients on the counter - soy + salsa + jam = he got a little nervous. But this dish turned out so flavorful. I will definately be making this again.

Yum! Great flavor (even without the cilantro which I was out of) and it was very good leftover.

The salsa was so much better than I expected - but I found it really needed the cilantro to balance the flavours out (don't skip that part). It was a very quick weeknight meal that is good enough to serve for company. A keeper!

sweet with a little spice, husband enjoyed - whatever spice your salsa is, it will be a little milder than that. Pork was cooked perfectly as directed.

I thought the same as a previous post, that some ingredients wouldn't go well together. Wrong. Fantastic dinner =)

At first I thought the ingredients wouldn't go well, but they did, surprisingly. Delicious! I would make this again even for a party, I think making the pork chops on the grill would add a good flavor to this recipe as well.

Delicious! I was a little unsure -- I mean, salsa and raspberry jam? -- but it turned out wonderfully. The sauce was the best part as the pork got a little dry. I didn't have cilantro but used the tops of some green onions.

I made this dish tonight. My pork tenderloin came in a 2lb package. So I tripled the sauces because I like extra. This was a super moist, tender, wonderfully delicious meal. Made some wild rice mixed with peas. The extra sauce mixed nicely with the rice too! I pre heated my pan too hot, so when I put the pork in, it splattered everywhere and clean up was no fun. So next time I'll lower the heat. Highly recommend this recipe. Super easy, super yummy and it was so perfect with the fresh cilantro sprinkled on top. Company worthy! Give this one a try! :)

Sorry, I don't know if it was my salsa or what, but the flavor of the sauce, kinda made me gag;( Won't be trying this one again.

Just remember not to cook the pork to high and cover it and it will not be dry. Do not over cook it either. 15 minutes tops. Alot like fish as far as time table except you turn pork over.!!!

I followed the recipe as closely as I could except substituting powdered garlic and ginger for fresh, apple jelly (didn't have raspberry), and sprinkled dried cilantro right into the sauce while cooking, didn't have fresh.. I served it over long grain rice seasoned with a couple of teaspoons of soy sauce and about a half teaspoon of curry powder put right in the water I cooked the rice with. It was DELICIOUS!!! Highly Recommend and will make again!

We liked this, but I too was a bit wary of the jam and salsa, but was just fine! Served with Parmesan Mashed potatoes and roasted carrots and parsnips, nice fall dinner!

Such a strange combination but really tasty! I doubled the soy sauce mixture and used Frontera Chipotle salsa which went very well with the raspberry preserves. I will definitely make it again.

Great pork! It was so simple and flavorful. I doubled it omitting the cilantro and using seeded rasberry preserves. I didn't think I was going to like the salsa but I was surprised- it went very well with the pork. Super fast and easy- will make again!

This recipe was just ok. I liked how quick and easy it was but the salsa sauce wasn't very good. Maybe it was the salsa a I used but I followed the recipe as is. Won't make this again.
