WOW...my husband is a gourmet chef and declared this recipe to be restaurant quality, and the entire family heartily agreed! Flavors are outstanding and the recipe goes together quickly and easily. Definitely a keeper for the family and when entertaining. Might even be good if you thickened up the sauce a little and served it with toasted baguette slices as an appetizer!

Great weeknight meal - super easy and super tasty. I followed the recipe exactly and probably wouldn't change anything the next time around. I doubled the recipe and served it to guests, and we ate it all. Sliced some oranges to have on the side and it was a great meal.

Really delicious! Very quick and easy to put together. The sour cream and tomato paste together was wonderful. Just enough creaminess without being overwhelming. Even my daughter who doesn't like tomatoes loved this dish. I will definitely make this again.

Fantastic! Super simple and inexpensive to make. I came home from a long day of teaching and whipped it together in the amount of time it took for the pasta to cook. I added more garlic and red pepper because my husband and I love it. I also added twice the amount of sour cream to make it thicker and creamier. Yum!!!

This was great! I used a can of whole canned tomaotes since fresh aren't really in season. I used the juice as well..so there was lots of sauce. This was an easy dinner and took 15 minutes to make. My husband and 3 year old loved it as well.

Simple and delicious! You can't get much better than that combination. The only change I made to this recipe was that I used petite diced canned tomatoes, mostly because I was too lazy to chop fresh tomatoes. Other than that, followed the recipe exactly...turned out so delicious!

This was a good way to make something special during the "winter blahs", but wasn't too expensive nor difficult to make. I also used canned tomatoes (diced petit cut) because of the lack of good tasting fresh tomatoes during the winter, but only used some of the liquid in the can. Added a salad & homemade bread for one great tasting meal.

Doubled the garlic (fresh this time of year) and the red pepper and added a little Cayenne. Family loves it, fast, easy, and works well on whole wheat noodles because of the spiciness.

This was a fantastic and easy meal. The sour cream was delicious, and it really made the flavors come together. This recipe is just spicy enough, even children will like it. I used canned diced tomatoes instead of fresh. Leftovers were great the next day. Served with a salad and French bread, this was a perfect meal for company. They'll never know how easy it was to make!

This recipe was super easy and fast. I would definitely add more red pepper next time since it was not too spicy.

Perfect as written, but I ended up doubling the sauce and stretching it when I saw how much it would make at the end! Delicious!

Couldn't believe that tomato paste and sour cream would work so well together. Definitely making again!

I thought this recipe was outstanding. Easy, fast and delicious; made as is with wheat fettucini.

Excellent! I followed the recipe exactly, but I think next time I will put a little less red pepper.

Super easy to make and great flavor. No more frozen bag dinners for us! With recipes like this one it seems crazy to eat frozen food when you can have a quick, yummy meal for not a whole lot more money or time! This recipe is definitely a keeper!!!!

You do not have to do all the chopping and pressing. If you use Dorot Garlic and Herbs you can save about 10 mins of prep time! ~ www.mydorot.com

This was delicious. This really was restaurant quality (a dish that would probably be around $17 at semi-fine dining). I thought that the flavor was full and well balanced. My husband added hot tobassco sauce to his which I thought was silly because it was so delicious, but he claimed that it gave his 'more flavor'. I served it with garlic bread and a cauliflower/broccoli in cheese sauce.

When I went to the store - bay scallops were cheaper than shrimp, so I tried them instead - yum! Just be sure and avoid over-cooking them, or they'll turn tough. Also, use fresh basil if you have any (I grow some in a window herb garden all year round).

Definitely use fresh tomatoes in this dish; it makes a huge difference. Both DH and I found it quite spicy, however, because of the crushed red pepper; and that was after I cut the amount I used. Will definitely make this again, but with even less red pepper (or none at all).

Very good recipe. The quick prep and cooking time appealed to me. Ready in less than twenty minutes. I added approximately 1/3 cup half and half and fresh basil instead of dried to the mix. Also added a few sprinkles of mozzarella since we are cheese lovers and this recipe is definitely going to be used again and again. Thanks!!
