Spicy Shredded Pork

Ingredients

  • 5-7 pound(s) pork shoulder
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 can(s) chipotle peppers
  • 2 can(s) Dr. Pepper
  • 2 tablespoon(s) brown sugar

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Place sliced onion in botom of dutch oven. Salt and pepper pork and place on top of onion. Pour chiles, Dr. Pepper and sugar on top of pork. Cover and bake at least 6 hours, turning pork 2 or 3 times. IF hte meat is not falling apart after 6 hours cook one more hour. Remove from pot and shred. Remove as much grease as possible from pot then return shredded meat and keep warm.
