For a quick flavor booster to pasta, add Spicy Sausage Breadcrumbs. Pulse a couple of ounces of a baguette in the food processor and stir in Mexican chorizo for a topping that makes plain pasta delicious.

1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons Mexican chorizo
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 ounces torn baguette
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chorizo; cook for 1 1/2 minutes, mashing with a fork. Stir in minced garlic; sauté 1 minute. Pulse torn baguette in a food processor for coarse crumbs. Add breadcrumbs; cook 3 minutes or until toasted.
