Spicy Sauce

Yield about 4 cups


  • 2 cups reserved stew liquid
  • 1 (14-ounce) bottle catsup
  • 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

How to Make It

  1. Combine all ingredients in a large heavy saucepan. Place over medium heat; simmer, stirring frequently, until well blended and thoroughly heated. Serve hot.
