Spicy Pickled Shrimp

    Worthy of a Special Occasion

    I made this for a dinner party last week, and it was a huge hit. I followed the recipe exactly except that I reduced the salt to one tsp. since I use Kosher salt which is stronger than table salt, and also I did not used quite as much red pepper because I was afraid it might be too hot for some of my guests. I served it as an appetizer.

    Absolutely wonderful. Made this for a pool party and it was a big hit. If I'm just making a small batch I have quartered the ingredients with great results.
