    The green beans tasted just like tasty pickles. And the recipe was so easy to prepare--followed it exactly. Now, I'm inspired to pickle other vegetables!

    The recipe is good, but unclear. Am I supposed to put the brine in the jar with the pickled beans after the week-long soak? The dill sprig in the picture looks fresh and pretty, can I do that in the jar and not affect the flavor?

    I can follow the directions but it doesn't' explain if you can do this for canning them.
