Spicy Peanut Sauce

This Spicy Peanut Sauce is salty, tangy, and sweet. It's quick and easy to make and is good as a dipping sauce, on meats, even cold noodles.

  • 2/3 cup chicken broth
  • 1/3 cup chunky peanut butter
  • 3 tablespoons lite soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tomato, peeled, seeded, and chopped
  • 4 green onions, minced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • Garnish: chopped fresh cilantro


  1. Bring first 11 ingredients to a boil in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Reduce heat, and simmer, whisking constantly, 2 minutes or until thick and creamy. Garnish, if desired.
