Spicy Orange Sauce

    This was REALLY delicious! This sauce is fast and easy enough to make for a weeknight meal, but tasty and elegant enough for a special occasion! While I used it with the sauteed chicken breast recipe, I know it would work well on any meat. My husband couldn't get over how much better it tasted than orange peel chicken at a chinese restaurant. The only thing different I would do next time would be to double it. Make sure you have everything measured out before you start cooking-it is done fast!

    I agree with the first reviewer. I made this with a stir fry of chicken, broccoli, red bell pepper and onion, and it was just as tasty as Chinese take out, and assuredly much healthier. And I would absolutely double the amounts. I did have a hard time getting it to thicken, but I am a novice at all this. I would make it again, though, soon!

    We used this on a chicken-veggie stir-fry and my husband and I loved it. Next time in stirfry I will use a little cornstarch to thicken it more, but it was probably thick enough for chicken breasts.We look forward to having this again! Good enough for company dinner.

    We loved it! I doubled it and used it as a sauce for a chicken and vegetable stir fry. It is not a thick sauce but that didn't bother us at all. It is easy to make...and we likely will make it many more times.

    This sauce is VERY GOOD! Goes excellent with Mahi Mahi and Ahi Tuna..Must make this! I added minced garlic to the ginger saute. served 1 tblspoon of sauce with the garlic and ginger on the plate then strained the rest . FABULOUS!!!

    Very good! I had to improvise a little - I had a hotel-sized orange marmalade that amounted to about 1 1/2 T. so to make up for the 3 T. I used a Ginger Spread by Trader Joe's. And used fresh lime juice instead of lemon. It was still great. I sauteed some Swai and served that over Jasmine rice with the sauce over all (and a green salad with orange segments and pomegranate arils). Good versatile recipe to have!! Would love it with chicken.
