Spicy Lettuce Salad

After owning my own restaurants, I love to experiment and just toss ingredients together. This recipe is a great addition to any dish you want to serve with a salad.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh onion
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 16 cups torn iceberg lettuce

Preparation

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a jar. Cover and shake. Pour over lettuce; toss.
