Spicy Buffalo Wings
The wings you order at sports bars often have a sweet barbecue sauce covering them. The sauce for the recipe here contains mostly hot sauce, so the carbs stay low.

Ingredients
- 3 dozen chicken wings (about 3 pounds)
- Cooking spray
- 1/2 cup hot sauce
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 (1-ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix
- 1 to 3 teaspoons ground red pepper
- 1 1/2 cups reduced-fat blue cheese dressing
Preparation
- 1. Preheat oven to 375°.
- 2. Cut off and discard wing tips; cut wings in half at joint. Place chicken on a broiler pan coated with cooking spray.
- 3. Combine hot sauce, water, soup mix, and red pepper. Brush chicken with half of hot sauce mixture.
- 4. Bake, uncovered, at 375° for 30 minutes. Remove from oven; turn chicken, and brush with remaining hot sauce mixture. Bake an additional 10 to 15 minutes or until tender. Serve warm with dressing.
