Ingredients
- 1 cup reduced-sodium ketchup
- 3/4 cup minced onion
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 1 tablespoon low-sodium Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
Preparation
- Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan, and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 20 minutes, stirring frequently. Use to baste while cooking and/or to serve with chicken, pork, or beef.
