Ingredients

1 cup reduced-sodium ketchup
3/4 cup minced onion
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup cider vinegar
2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons molasses
1 tablespoon low-sodium Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons dry mustard
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon chili powder

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan, and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 20 minutes, stirring frequently. Use to baste while cooking and/or to serve with chicken, pork, or beef.
