I made this recipe because I had a frozen pie crust and some blueberries on hand. I cannot comment on the crust but the filling is very good. The spices taste great-it sort of reminds me of spiced chai. I did add about 1/4 cup of extra sugar. The whole family loved it and I will make it again sometime.

The crust is great, just the right texture, however, I prefer a plain blueberry filling to this one. The pepper leaves a strong aftertaste in my mouth.
