Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (12-ounce) flank steak, trimmed
- Cooking spray
Preparation
- Preheat broiler.
- Combine first 7 ingredients (brown sugar through pepper) in a small bowl; rub evenly over steak.
- Place steak on a broiler pan coated with cooking spray; broil 6 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness.
- Let stand 3 minutes; cut steak diagonally across grain into thin slices.
