My family loves this recipe. It is a great for a refreshing summer meal. It can be tailored to specific tastes (ie more lemon or garlic, more spicy.) The best part is that my 4 year old daughter will actually eat shrimp when we serve this dish!

I thought that this was absolutely delicious! True confession: I did make some changes, so maybe the 5 stars should be 4. Used entire two pounds of shrimp and whole pound of angel hair pasta, so I increased butter to 1/2 cup, doubled the hot sauce (probably could have used more - this is an unexpectedly tasty addition to a scampi), and used extra garlic. Kept the lemon juice, zest, and parsley unchanged. Was perfect!

We really like this scampi. It is very lemony, but very light and refreshing. I usually add some cajun seasoning to it and not quite as much lemon juice as the recipe calls for. We usually serve with a salad and cheesy garlic bread. It's quick, easy and delicious!!

I recently found this recipe in a southern living cookbook and we have had it every week since! Great scampi recipe. I add a little more garlic and green onions but we really like the lemon flavor.

This was SUPER lemony. It's tasty otherwise, but I definitely recommend cutting back on the lemon juice and zest.
