Great recipe. Substitute ground turkey for the sirloin and you save even more calories without loosing flavor as the sausage is still there.

I love the SouthWestern Chili. It looks and tastes great. I save calories by leaving out the sour cream. I also sprinkle a golden roasted flax seed blend called FitFlax on top (www.theflaxdiet.com). It's loaded with Omega 3's, fiber and antioxidants, and it adds a great taste and crunch to the dish. I've started adding flax to several of my meals, I really like it and it's helped me lose weight.

This has become my go to chili for the past 2 seasons! Amazing fresh flavor from the salsa verde and the sausage. I use chorizo.

Excellent chili with a nice hot kick! I used smoked turkey because I couldn't find Cajun smoked and it was delicious.

I love this recipe for chili, as did all my family. I particularly enjoy the sour cream and adding cilantro to my bowl. I substituted chorizo for the Cajun sausage, as I was unable to find it in my grocery store (small town, meh...) The beer gives it a nice sour flavor, and I had to show the recipe to my husband to prove it was in there... lol... he thought I was going to be drinking it ;-) This is now my chili recipe!
