Sour Cream Coleslaw

Ingredients

  • 1 (16-ounce) container sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons caraway or celery seeds
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 small head cabbage, shredded (15 cups)
  • 1/2 medium-size green bell pepper, diced
  • 3 tablespoons minced purple onion

Preparation

Stir together first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; add cabbage, bell pepper, and onion, tossing well. Chill 8 hours, if desired.
