- 24 saltine crackers
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
How to Make It
Soak crackers in ice water in a large bowl for 3 minutes or until soft. Remove crackers with a slotted spoon, and drain 5 minutes. Carefully place crackers on baking sheets; brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with salt. Bake at 450° for 15 minutes or until crisp and golden brown. Serve immediately with soups or stews.
