Hands-on time 15 mins
Total time 15 mins

Makes about 1 gal.

Fizzy hard cider and spicy ginger ale add a subtle effervescence. Start with chilled beverages so it's nice and refreshing, and consider adding a decorative ice ring to keep it that way.

  • 6 1/2 cups chilled unfiltered apple juice
  • 3 (12-oz.) bottles chilled ginger ale
  • 2 (12-oz.) bottles chilled dry hard cider
  • 2 cups bourbon
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup sorghum syrup
  • 6 dashes of Angostura bitters
  • Garnishes: orange slices, cinnamon sticks

How to Make It

  1. Stir together first 7 ingredients until well blended.

Cook's Notes

We tested with Blenheim Ginger Ale and Angry Orchard Traditional Dry Hard Cider.
