These pretzels were delicious. My 6-year-old thought they were the best she's ever had. I had to keep her from eating the whole batch at once. I will make again and again.

These came out great! I have a bread machine, so used it to make the recipe even easier. I combined the water, sugar, and yeast and let them ferment. I then dumped the yeast mixture into the bread machine container with the rest of the ingredients, set on dough cycle and then followed the recipe as written the rest of the way.

Just made these today and they were fabulous--perfect texture and flavor without the doughiness you sometimes get with soft pretzels. I've been craving these since my husband and I got back from Oktoberfest in Munich. I think these are even better than the ones you get on the Wies'n. My husband, who's not a huge pretzel fan, said they were the best he'd ever had. Now I have another use for all of the sweet mustard we brought back from Germany and can enjoy pretzels in Italy!

Absolutely fabulous! I am a huge pretzel fan and these were amazing. Some of the best soft pretzels I have ever had, especially paired with a good micro brew.

I let the dough rise for about 2 hours, and then divided dough into 10 parts, making the pretzels a little bit larger and more puffy, and then let the shaped pretzel rise for about 20 minutes. I also let them simmer for about 30-40 seconds on each side, turned out great, will make again.

Great pretzels! I was bringing these to a party so I cut the ropes into pretzel 'bites' (1-2 inches) with a kitchen shears instead of folding them into actual pretzels to get a larger yield. Served with Aunty Lilikoi's Passion Wasabi Mustard. They were a huge hit!

I love pretzels so i thought i would give this recipe a try. Although it is a little time consuming and I asked for assistance to make the process smoother, the pretzels turned out fabulous! I would make these again. Also, I made 1/2 of the pretzels with the salt and 1/2 with cinnamon sugar. (like auntie annes) They were great.

Not as fluffy as the ones at the mall, but good soft texture. Plus it was so much work that our family did not feel it was worth it.

I made these today, and my boyfriend and I have already had 7 of them! A definite success, I will certainly be making these again soon!

I'll be honest, I didn't think this was going to work out for me. But the recipe worked very well, the pretzels are fantastic. And it was so much easier than I'd imagined. Even if you're not an experienced bread baker, if you follow the directions on this you should do fine.

We love these pretzels. They take some time to make but the preparation is easy. Ours are a little thinner than the ones in the picture. I'm not sure how to "fluff" them up any more as we didn't shortcut either of the risings. They are fun to shape with kids. We will definitely be making these again.

The kids had fun coming up with different shapes for the pretzels.
