Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1 (0.23-oz.) envelope unsweetened lemonade drink mix
  • Crushed or shaved ice

How to Make It

  1. Bring sugar and 1 1/4 cups water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Remove from heat, and stir in drink mix. Cover and chill until ready to serve. Let stand at room temperature about 20 minutes. Spoon 1 to 2 Tbsp. syrup over 1 cup crushed or shaved ice for each serving.

  2. Note: For testing purposes only, we used Kool-Aid Pink Lemonade drink mix.
