Combine first 4 ingredients; rub over chops. Cover and chill up to 8 hours.
Spray chops evenly on both sides with cooking spray.
Grill, covered with grill lid, over medium-high heat (350° to 400°) 8 to 10 minutes on each side or to desired degree of doneness (140° to 150° for medium). Serve with Rosemary-Cherry Sauce; garnish, if desired.
I can't find words to tell you how good this was. I have requested it for my birthday dinner for the past three years. Lamb and rosemary...not un common, but the Cherry-Rosemary Sauce took it to a new level. Served w/garlic sauteed vegetable medley (julienned yellow squash, zucchini & carrots) and oven-roasted potatoes.
