Slow cook your way to Christmas dinner with this savory turkey and dressing. Simmering for 5 hours in butter, onion, celery, and cranberries, this dish is a flavorful and tender treat for your tastebuds.

Ingredients

1/4 cup sweetened dried cranberries
3-lb. boneless turkey breast, cut in half
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
8-oz. pkg. stuffing mix
1/2 cup hot water
2 tablespoons butter, softened
1 onion, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped

Preparation

Coat a 4 1/2-quart slow cooker with non-stick vegetable spray; spoon in dry stuffing mix. Add water, butter, onion, celery and cranberries; mix well. Sprinkle turkey breast pieces with basil, salt and pepper and place over stuffing mixture. Cook on high setting, covered, for one hour; reduce to low setting for 5 hours. Remove turkey, slice and set aside. Gently stir the stuffing and allow to sit for 5 minutes. Transfer stuffing to a platter and top with sliced turkey.
