Ingredients

  • 4-5 pound(s) USDA choice, certified hereford beef chuck roast
  • 2 ounce(s) dry onion soup mix
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) water
  • 1 pound(s) mini carrots
  • 10.5 ounce(s) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 pound(s) red potatoes

Preparation

Place roast on bottom of crock pot. Quarter 2# potatoes. Place potatoes and mini carrots on top of roast in crock pot. Mix soup mix, water and cream of mushroom soup together and pour over pot roast. Put lid on the crock pot and cook on low for 8 hours until tender
