I have to agree with the minority of reviewers that have said, "Tastes OK, but nothing special." The only change I made based on other reviews was to add 1/4 cup water to the crockpot and I'm glad I did.

I have made this for years, as printed and really enjoyed it. But last night, I switched a two things and loved it even more. First, I used 4 bone-in chicken breasts (skin removed) instead of london broil. Also used spanish rice INSIDE the burrito instead of refried beans. Cooked for 5 hours on low in crock with all the usual seasonings and removed bones when chicken was done. Shredded meat in juices. It was incredible!! Try it some time.

Yum! This was super-easy and delicious! I used "hot and spicy" taco seasoning since some reviewers said the meat was bland. The burritos were very filling for a lite recipe. Will definitely make again!

This recipe is exactly as 3 stars describes: good and solid. It didn't blow our minds, but it was incredibly easy to prepare and the leftovers made good filling for quesadillas the next day. Perfect for weeknights!

I've been making this for years. I've shared with everyone in my family. There is nothing difficult about the recipe - and I make this recipe at high altitude all the time. I add no additional water or beef broth. The only additional item that we add are jalepenos. My husband likes the spicy flavor. Kids love it and it is great leftover. I highly recommend this recipe. If you are experiencing meat that doesn't seem to cook correctly, make sure that you have a big enough piece of beef and/or use flank steak rather than the london broil.

Made this last week, delicious!!! I used McCormick brand taco seasoning and just under two pound london broil, and based on other reviews cooked for the entire time. Made great leftovers, great flavor! I might add a small amount of beef broth since there wasn't much cooking liquid left at the end.

Easy and fun to build your own burrito. Next time will add more seasoning to the meat as it was bland like other reviewers stated. Perfect meal for having friends over as you can set up your kitchen counter in a little assembly line for everyone to customize their own meal. Will make again for sure.

Simple and great tasting. I have made it several times for guests and have been asked for the recipe each time.

My husband liked it a lot, but I thought it was quite bland. I thought the beef tasted like pot roast, which I don't care for. I don't think I'll make this again.

Because of reviews saying bland and dry, (and my slow cooker doesn't seal well) I added a can of enchilada sauce and a couple of fresh jalapenos. There was a ton of juice and the meat just fell apart. All 3 of my kids (13-18) loved it. That NEVER happens. I was planning on leftovers, but it was gone the first night. My pickiest eater went back for 3rds!

I thought the meat was dry and tasted like pot roast, which I don't care for. I also didn't think it was very flavorful. I don't think I'll be making this again.

Because of prior reviews i added half a jalapeno, 6 oz of beef broth, 6 oz of water. It shredded easily and tasted delicious!

I was so excited about this, but I have to agree with the other reviewers who say it just tastes like pot roast. It did to me as well, and I couldn't detect any other flavor, despite using lots of my own taco seasoning plus a whole jalapeno as others had suggested. I like pot roast fine, but not so much in my burritos - so this didn't really work for us at all.
