This is a delicious recipe for barbecue chicken. Using the slow-cooker made it quick and easy; I didn't change a thing except to increase the amount made. I served it to a large family group on July 4th and there wasn't a shred left. I will definitely make this recipe again.

I did twice as much chicken, but don't think I needed to double the sauce recipe--plenty saucy. Really yummy though.

Great recipe! I loved the Italian dressing with the BBQ sauce. However I would double the sauce completely. It was done well before 5 hours, but that might just be my crock pot. Overall very tasty and we loved it!

So delicious! I didn't have cornstarch, so I just put all the other ingredients in from the start. Shredded one hour before serving and wow, such great flavor!! Already made these twice! The leftovers are just as tasty and flavorful!

yummy! I seasoned the chicken with cajun spices and garlic and just put everything in crock pot except for cornstarch (did not use) and served on hoagie buns. a winner!

I allowed this to cook for the entire cook time even though I knew it was fully cooked long before the time had passed. I don't recommend doing this. The chicken because very soft to the point that it was kind of mushy. But the flavor was great and I'll make it again with less cook time.

The type of barbecue sauce that you use will determine how much you like this recipe. While I normally like a Carolina style BBQ sauce, for this recipe I use a thicker tomato-based sauce (Dinosaur Bar-b-que) and add some brown or dijon mustard (just not that yellow stuff), Franks Red Hot sauce and ground pepper. I only use 1 tablespoon (or slightly less) of brown sugar to keep the sweetness subtle since I prefer a spicy-sweet flavor. BBQ sauce can already have a lot of sugar in it so adding brown sugar might not even be necessary.

We had a gathering at our house for about 14 adults and everyone raved about this. A couple days later I took the leftovers and turned them into nachos adding salsa, and cheese. It too was awesome. I would recommend to anyone.

I tried this recipe and absolutely loved it! I left out the brown sugar and used a barbecue sauce from one of my favorite restaurants and it tasted perfect. I will definitely be making this again.

Wow! This recipe was so easy and so delicious! I used Kraft Reduced Fat Zesty Italian dressing and Sweet Baby Ray's Sweet and Spicy BBQ Sauce. Leftovers are even better, which I didn't even think could be possible with this recipe - it was THAT good the first day! Followed recipe exactly. I ate it side by side with Cooking Light's Sweet and Sour Slaw (I add chopped up Granny Smith apple to it) and my husband ate it on a whole wheat bun with coleslaw on it...really amazing!! Make this!

Followed exactly, with one exception. Reduced cooking time to 3 hrs and had perfect results. Super easy, yummy, and healthy!

This is my kind of 5 star recipe - easy and delicious. And did I say easy? I doubled the chicken and sauce ingredients (except for the Worcestershire) and it turned out perfectly. I used Sweet Baby Ray's regular Barbecue Sauce and Kraft Zesty Italian Salad Dressing. I also added some chopped onions. I only had 3 Tablespoons of corn starch but it thickened the sauce perfectly. Oh, and I only cooked it for four hours on low but turned it to high when I added the cornstarch mixture.

This was nice and easy and relatively tasty. I did not think it was good enough to give it five stars as others have. I thought it a little too sweet for my taste. I may try it again without the brown sugar.
