Ingredients
- 2 tomatoes (about 3/4 pound)
- 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped fresh basil
- 1 teaspoon capers
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 teaspoons extravirgin olive oil
- 1 small garlic clove, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
Preparation
- 1. Cut each tomato vertically into 6 slices. Arrange on a serving plate; sprinkle with basil and capers.
- 2. Combine vinegar and next 5 ingredients in a small bowl; stir with a whisk. Pour vinegar mixture over tomatoes.
