    This meal was excellent. I made the mashed potatoes from scratch, adding 1% milk and no salt or butter. My husband absolutely loved it served with a side of black beans .

    Even with making the mashed potatoes from scratch this is an incredibly simple and quick recipe, the perfect thing to make for a meat and potatoes man like my hubby.

    It is surprisingly good for such a small effort. My husband liked this dish more than I did. I felt it was a little heavier than I like. My husband liked it's heartiness so I would think this would go over better if you were feeding men or teenagers. Still it had a very good taste and was easy to put together. Next time I will try mashed cauliflower and fat free cheddar.

    These actually didn't sound too good, but I had some bell peppers that needed to be used...I ended up eating TWO....SO yummy! I served in scampi dished and put them under the broiler long enough to melt the cheese. Giving it a five star because it was so good, but I don't know that it is 'fancy' enough to serve guests....but you could certainly play around with the meat filling with various herbs/sauces to make a true five star dish.

    Good flavors and easy to make, but with the ground round, refrigerated mashed potatoes, and cheese, there is no way that 338 is an accurate calorie count. Definitely misleading in that regard.

    Taco seasoning plus mashed potatoes didn't really do much for us. I thought we'd try it and see but we all agreed that it wouldn't be worth making again. It was quick but that's about all I can say about it.
