Skillet-Fried Balsamic Apples and Sweet Onion: Omit apple pie spice. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat; add 2 large sweet onions, sliced, and sauté 5 minutes. Add apples, brown sugar, and 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar, and sauté 15 to 20 minutes or until apples are tender. Makes 6 servings. Prep: 15 min., Cook: 20 min.
