We loved this bread. I am a famous failure with baking bread, but this turned out perfectly. It is great with butter, or toasted. Next time, I will try substituting 1/2 flour with whole wheat.

This bread was really good and really easy, it does need a little extra flavor, I braided it, and mixed the egg wash with butter and garlic then sprinkled sesame seeds over the top, everyone loved it.

I had such high hopes for this bread. It came out of the oven golden brown. The texture was perfect and the bread was soft (I added olive oil per the other reviewer's suggestion). However, the bread didn't have any flavor! If anyone has suggestions on increasing the flavor, I would try this one again.

This was the first yeast bread that I have ever attempted to make and it was so easy! And I find that the cooking times/temperatures work wonderfully: I get perfectly cooked bread every time (it looks great too). It's absolutely delicious, especially when it is still warm. We've mostly used the bread for sandwiches and breakfast toast, but it would also work as a side for dinners.

This is just what is says it is - simple white bread. No surprises. I will say, it was quite dense. Almost too heavy for sandwich bread. I would only use this bread for substantial tastes like spiral ham and turkey off the bone, not for anything that will be overwhelmed by the denseness, like peanut butter and jelly or deli cuts. It would also work quite well as a side, with butter, like you might have in a restaurant.

ok, so far im not impressed. The bread is in the pan, rising, but way longer than it said. it has not yet doubled in size, and its going on over an hour in the pan. i'm not so sure about this recipe. it sounded pretty easy.

I was not at all impressed with this bread. It tasted more like pretzel than it did bread. I had to add about another cup to a cup and a half of flour to even make it suitable and it tasted way to salty. (Followed the recipe to a "T" but added more flour.)

Fantastic white bread recipe. The dough is very sticky--more so than other bread recipes I've worked with. So don't be surprised if you find yourself adding lots of flour during the kneading process. It didn't make the bread tough or too dense, for me. I'll definitely make this again.

I love this recipe! I make this up to twice per week, with a few minor modifications. I use olive oil instead of cooking spray, and skip the egg wash. Also, rather than using a rolling pin, I stretch the dough by hand. I find that my dough rises better in the pan that way...

This is a great, easy recipe. I could not believe how beautiful this bread turned out and how good it tasted. I added about 2 TBSP. light olive oil and about 1 1/2 TBSP. honey to the recipe. I made a french loaf and it turned out great! I also did another one with cinnamon and raisins in a loaf pan. It made a great cinnamon-raisin breakfast toast! I will definitely use this recipe again! Enjoy!

I love this bread! It was easy to make and tasted great. We had company for dinner and before I knew it the bread was gone! Good thing I got my piece early! Everyone commented on how good it was and my husband requested more today. I will be making a few batches since I already know it will disappear fast at our house,
