Simple Syrup

Yield Makes 3/4 cup

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water

How to Make It

  1. Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Boil 1 minute or until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat, and cool 30 minutes. Store in an airtight container in refrigerator up to 2 weeks.
