I roasted a bell pepper while the sauce and green beans cooked, and tossed everything together. I baked the dish until bubbly and added the topping. Excellent side!

I made this for Thanksgiving and everyone loved it. I've never been a huge fan of Green Bean Casserole but this one was so great with the crunch of the panko, pecans and french fried onions. Many people gave me compliments. I did not add the red peppers (Since i'm not a big fan) and I don't know that it made a difference. Still great!
