  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon grated peeled fresh ginger
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 (1-pound) flank steak (3/4 inch thick), trimmed
  • Cooking spray


  1. 1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a large zip-top plastic bag; add steak. Seal bag; marinate in refrigerator 24 hours, turning bag occasionally.
  2. 2. Preheat broiler.
  3. 3. Remove steak from bag, discarding marinade. Place steak on a broiler pan coated with cooking spray. Broil 6 to 8 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. Let steak stand 5 minutes.
