Three ingredients are all it takes to make up a batch of Simple Butterscotch Sauce. Drizzle Simple Butternut Sauce over ice cream or pound cake.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

How to Make It

  1. Heat butter and sugar in a small saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Stir in cream; cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes or until well blended. Cool completely.
