These "little" fellows add the right touch of whimsy to your Halloween decor. Don't eat... unless you really want to!
Yield: Serves 8
- 8 small Granny Smith apples, peeled
- 1 cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon salt
- Red licorice, cut into short lengths
- Core apples and carve facial features.
- Combine lemon juice and salt. Add apples; toss to coat. Let stand one minute. Drain; let stand at room temperature one week. Add licorice for hair.
