Alas....another shrimp kebab recipe down the drain. I agree with a previous review....how on earth could it have turned out so ordinary with all of the bold flavors?!?!? I'm at a loss, and won't be making this again.

We loved this recipe! The salsa is great used as a dressing over salad. I marinated the shrimp for a couple hours in the lime, mint and spices so the shrimp were nicely tenderized. My husband who is picky about shrimp, loved this recipe. I'll be serving this for guests this summer. Very healthy and very delicious!

I really liked the shrimp. The mint sounds like an odd ingedient to use, but it was great. The mint did not over power anything. I started to make the salsa and I thought "what is this for?" I guess to go with the shrimp. The shrimp doesn't need it. I just put pineapple wedges on the skewers and that tured out great.

It was OK, but nothing to get too excited about. I doubt I will make this one again.

Why would this come up first under a low carb search? Pineapple is the one of the highest carb fruits available. It also has honey which is also guaranteed to raise your blood sugar. The overall carb count appears fine, but I'm sure it has too many sugars. The serving size is what? Three(3) shrimp? It doesn't say. It sounds delicious, but you need to alter your low carb parameters.

This is a good recipe, but you have to be bold enough to try unexpected combinations of flavors. We liked the salsa, but some may be put off by the mixture of sweet and hot.
