We thought this recipe was outstanding -- and will even serve it to guests in the future. The quality of the marinara sauce use probably makes a difference in flavor; we used Newman's Own Cabernet Marinara with excellent results. Doubled the recipe (though forgot to double the shrimp) which resulted in enough soup for 4 large main dish servings. In the future, will even try using this recipe as a base but adding shredded chicken instead of shrimp for a cheaper variety, topping with a different cheese...I think it could be very versatile!

I can't believe how easy this was! The fact it was so tasty was so awesome. It is now a weeknight regular! The second best part is it includes ingredients that are all staples in my house!

Really easy and good. Another reviewer said the quality of marinara probably made a difference, but I simply used Target brand traditional pasta sauce and it was still really good. So maybe even better with a nicer sauce. Mine was less thick than the picture. My 5 yr old who HATES all soup even loved this. We omitted the feta b/c we don't like it. The simple lemon salad on the side was simple, but a solid basic salad.
