This is a delicious, simple soup. I used a fresh pasilla chile and shrimp without tails, but otherwise followed the recipe exactly. Don't skip the sour cream and avocado. Very light broth, but filling because of the pasta. Really good recipe.

I followed the recipe exactly and it was OK, but there was something missing that I couldn't put my finger on. While the flavor was decent, no one went for seconds & the leftovers didn't get eaten. Definitely use the sour cream & avocado - they do help to round out the flavors...
