- 2 cups butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 cups sifted bread flour or all-purpose flour
How to Make It
Cream butter in a large mixing bowl; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Gradually add flour, beating until thoroughly blended.
Press mixture into a 15- x 10- x 1-inch jellyroll pan; prick surface with tines of a fork. Bake at 300° for 50 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely in pan. Cut into 2-inch squares.
