Seviche de Salmon

  • Yield: Makes 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 1 (10-ounce) salmon fillet, skinned, boned, and cut into 1/4-inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup diced cucumber
  • 1 fresh habanero pepper, seeded and minced
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon whole mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon black sesame seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons honey
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a medium glass bowl. Cover and chill 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
