Seviche de Salmon

Yield: Makes 2 cups
Ingredients
- 1 (10-ounce) salmon fillet, skinned, boned, and cut into 1/4-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup finely chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup diced cucumber
- 1 fresh habanero pepper, seeded and minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 tablespoon whole mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon black sesame seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoons honey
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
Preparation
- Combine all ingredients in a medium glass bowl. Cover and chill 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
