- 1 cup(s) sugar
- 1/4 cup(s) cornstarch
- 1 cup(s) chicken broth
- 1/2 cup(s) water
- 1/8 cup(s) white vinegar
- 2 tablespoon(s) dark soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon(s) sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon(s) crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 clove(s) minced garlic
- In saucepan, mix together sugar and cornstarch. Stir in chicken broth, water, vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and garlic. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
