Ingredients

  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sesame seeds
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons minced fresh ginger
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation

  1. Steam green beans, covered, 3 minutes or until tender. Set aside.
  2. Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Add mustard seeds and sesame seeds; cook 1 minute or until seeds are toasted. Add ginger and garlic; cook 2 minutes. Add green beans, salt, and pepper to skillet; cook 1 minute or until heated through.
