Ingredients
- 1 (11-ounce) can refrigerated French bread dough
- Cooking spray
- 2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
- 1 1/2 tablespoons reduced-calorie margarine, melted
- 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Unroll dough; cut into 3 equal pieces. Shape each portion into a rope. Place ropes on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray; (do not stretch). Braid ropes; pinch loose ends to seal. Insert garlic slices evenly into braid. Brush melted margarine over braid, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake braid at 350° for 25 minutes or until loaf sounds hollow when tapped. Remove from baking sheet immediately. Serve warm.
